I consider a glassblower a great concert artist. I have treated glass with respect and esteem ever since I was little. In glassblower's hands it becomes malleable and shapeable so that the new masterpiece once again glows with its spotless surface. The old scratches and wounds are forgotten. This transformation never ceases to impress me.
